Matching SU needles to A-series engine

Standard engine needles are not included becuase they can be found from the Owner Manuals, and would just clutter the list.

  • 998CC +60thou HS4 + Powermax + 276 + stage1 (K&N cone/stub stack + RC40 + Maniflow) + 12G295 = AAA needle, putting out 56-57bhp

  • 998cc +40thou 2x HS2 + forged Hepolites + MD266Kent 12G295stg3 + 9.75:1 + Lynx foam filters + LCB = H6 needles (also #6 sometimes)

    note: Not dynoed, but seems ok in daily use. The ADX needle is slightly richer than the AAU supplied with stage-1 kits.

    comment: Tuned to 52bhp@4krpm on a rolling road, but not reved beyond that (more power?). The needle is too lean at idle though.
