World building is possibly one of the finest and hardest artforms there is. After all, it encompasses the whole spectrum of human life or - in case of a truly ingenious world builder - alien life. A master world builder must be familiar with philosophy, psychology, physics, geology, biology, social sciencies, history, fine arts, languages, etc. There is little that a world builder doesn't run into.
Like an artist, the world builder should also be able to bring something new into being, something that holds the breath of its spectator. Indeed the world builder must also be able to bring his creation forth for others to see. Unfortunately not many of us are master, or even good, world builders. But we are on our way there, with the footprints of the mastermen guiding our path. The Domus project is a ladder on such a path.
