Nowadys most popular films are action/adventure films. Difference between action and adventure films is not always very clear. Adventure films have some kind of childish or fantastic spirit, which is totally absent in action films. In 80's adventure film has new incoming with big success films like "Raiders Of The Lost Ark" and "Romancing the Stone". "James Bond" films started action films period, which seem to have no end.
